Spring into Action...

With the mad Christmas rush over, January is a time to reflect on last years sales, see which designs to drop and look forward to my Spring collection. This will mark my 8th year since starting my business, and when I look back to my early work I can really see how my skills and tastes have developed. Both my jewellery and millinery designs seem to have become more minimalist - a reflection perhaps of how my own tastes have changed. I'm currently in the process of de-cluttering my house as I prefer a more modern, clean look to my previous 'country-cottage' feel. The dahlia cocktail hat has remained a firm customer favourite since I designed it over 6 years ago. I seem to spend several nights a week cutting piles of petals (or as my husband calls them: rhino ears). I was delighted to be approached by Liz Earle's Wellbeing magazine to feature the hat in their 'Liz recommends' editorial, and rushed to get the latest copy (plus one for my mum of course!).
